Fell Off The Wagon, But Hung On!

Fell Off The Wagon, But Hung On!

Okay, so it has been a super, super busy month+. Just wanted to give ya an update real quick and tell ya I didn’t fall off the mountain or a cliff or something. Just trying to make time for everything and working on other projects.

In this post I just wanted to cover the topic of falling off the wagon. I think it’s important to remember that we need to prioritize and I think one of the best principals to follow is that of Time Management, so that you can make time for your priorities.

All that said I did fall off the wagon a bit during this busy time and it wasn’t pretty. I held on a bit to eating right and exercising, but it was far from what I was used to the months prior. What I want to get across with this post is the effect that it had on me. I felt totally different, not as spry, not as energetic and truly my mental prowess was off too. All around I was more tired and I noticed little chinks in my armor; a headache here, a sore muscle there.

After experiencing the ups and downs like that it is more apparent to me how vital a healthy, organic and active lifestyle is. It aids so much in a happy, fulfilling and healthy life, it really blew me away.

I will say one thing that has helped me along the way was something my Health Counselor, Jennifer at Medicinal Nutrition, really advocated. It was that of taking small steps with your diet and your daily regimen. Work in little things here and there and over time they become habit without getting too overwhelming and eventually it’s a lifestyle and just part of your everyday life.

This bit of advice has helped me at least hold onto the wagon rather than falling completely off. I thank her for that and encourage those of you in the same boat to work with baby steps and incorporate little things here and there and you will be surprised how much change you can handle!

Thanks for always taking time out of your day to let me share my experiences with ya!

Cheers!!
